In place of this weeks Africa News Focus Gerry interviews an investor in the Save Valley Conservancy. This conservancy came into being through a small group of individuals who believed strongly in the importance of conservation and the protection of wildlife. Unfortunately Save, and all other conservancies in Zimbabwe, have come under major threat from a huge upsurge in poaching - organised at the highest level in Cabinet - and the fact that government is now forcing many owners to hand over half their shares to favoured individuals in the ruling elite.
