Alex looks at the concerns raised, after the UK Home Office last month threatened to start deporting failed Zim asylum seekers. UK Immigration Minister Phil Woolas indicated deportations could be on the cards, while announcing new aid repatriation packages available for failed asylum seekers. Marek Effendowicz from the International Organisation for Migration defends the voluntary return package, but refers the issue of deportations to the Home Office, who are yet to comment. Meanwhile Sarah Harland from the ZimAssociation says there is anxiety among Zimbabweans in the UK about returning home, arguing the Home Office has got it wrong about the present situation in Zim.
