Rebuilding Zimbabwe

The national Coordinator of the Global Zimbabwe Forum South Africa, Norah Tapera, has embarked on a mercy mission to the Western Cape to investigate the xenophobic attacks against Zimbabwean refugees. More than 3000 people, mostly Zimbabweans, fled from the De Doorns farming town when locals claimed they were robbing them of jobs in the area. Most of the victims have sought help and protection from the Red Cross, which has pitched tents and is providing food for the refugees.
