The Zim embassy and consular offices in South Africa have come under fire for not protecting Zimbabwean citizens in South Africa. Nora Tapiwa, coordinator of the Global Zimbabwe Forum, lashes out at embassy officials for failing to help victims of xenophobic attacks in De Doorns, in the Western Cape last week. She said consular staff have been consistently useless, ignoring the many cases of Zimbabweans being abused, beaten or killed.
