The volume of traffic using the one stop border post at Chirundu has picked up considerably since it was opened early this month. With most exporters preferring to use the Chirundu-Harare-Beitbridge highway, the country is set to rake in millions of dollars in revenue from the recently installed toll gates. An MDC councillor Kudakwashe Mature says this money should be ploughed back into overhauling the country’s road network, starting with the construction of new and modern dual carriageways.
